Yamaha FG 720S Acoustic Guitar
The Yamaha FG series has been upgraded with design features inherited from the L-Series, and is the company's best entry-level guitar to date. This FG720S features a Blue gloss-finished top, and black back and sides with a tortoise shell guard and has an appealing sixties flavour. It has the red lable and was made in Taiwan. The number of the guitar is QMH which from my research shows it to be Number 127 on the 23rd July , or or as they duplicated numbers every 10 years.. Both my sons used this to learn on and we have owned this for 10 years so I think the date may be The neck has extra coats of lacquer applied, and as a result a thicker, more even satin finish with a smooth, silky sheen. The fingerboard and body binding applied here is cream. The Machine heads are silver in great condition. The FG720S has a round, mellow voice and what is lost a little in terms of brightness and presence is gained in warmth and sophistication. While finger picked notes don't quite have the same crisp sheen, the guitar's more sedate performance would probably provide a more measured balance for recording rhythmic chords or arpeggiated work with a plectrum, lending extra bite. Over all the guitar is in great condition with no marks, dings etc but would benefit from some new strings. Thank you Ad ID: Delivery Service Consumer Credit
