It has key features that the student player needs including a high quality 61 note standard-size keyboard. When learning to play, it’s important that a keyboard sounds good; this encourages the student to practise regularly and develop their skills. The PSR-F50 has 120 different instrument sounds (voices) which use technology developed from Yamaha’s high-end keyboard instruments. The sounds are created using recordings of the actual instruments which have been stored in the keyboard so they sound incredibly realistic. The sounds can be easily and quickly changed by using the numbered keypad and a large digital display shows your current selection. All the sounds can be played across the entire length of the keyboard. By selecting the Style mode, you have access to 114 professional backings. These provide drums, bass and rhythmic accompaniment based on the notes you play with your left-hand. A huge range of musical types are included including Pop & Rock, Dance, R&B and Country. Styles are a great way to learn about how different types of music are created and develop skills needed for playing with other musicians in a band.
