Beatrix II is a true classic, the Contessa 26 was designed by David Sadler and built by Jeremy Rogers, based upon the original Folkboat design. Credited with many successful long distance voyages and considerable success in the Round Isle of Wight and other races, the Contessa 26 has excellent sea-keeping qualities - a safe smaller cruiser for family sailing and capable of extended voyaging. There is an active Contessa 26 Association online. This is a lovely example, the hull and deck are still the original gel coat and never been painted. Below the waterline was epoxied some years ago for protection. Brand new tiller fitted this season and hatchboards completely refurbished. The boat is fitted with a Yanmar 1GM Diesel inboard which runs sweetly, also very economical and pushes the boat through the water nicely. Mainsail and jib in good useable condition (New ) Marine WC toilet to starboard between forward cabin and saloon. Hanging locker opposite WC The boat was surveyed on behalf of the current owner in and this survey will be available to the purchaser. She also has a portfolio of equipment manuals. Yacht cradle suitable for a yacht around 32ft LOA. Would accomodate a larger yacht.

This cradle was used to store my boat last winter. I dismantled it and took it home and it is currently stored on a pallet in my garden. It is flexible and can be adjusted to fit larger yachts. It fits in the back of my large estate car or a van. It is quite heavy as it is sturdily built. There are a couple of acrows and various straps and chain that can be seen in the photos.
