Click here to view this lot A rare beautiful complete Luftwaffe officers dagger. Everything is still in very good condition.With maker’s stamp of E. & F. Hörster - Solingen.The dagger is in very good condition.Of course, it has some light signs of use and age but no real damage, breaks or broken pieces.Some patina, but it’s actually very beautiful.Only a small dent on the side of the bottom.Also includes the portepée and the “Gehänge” to carry it on a belt.The "Gehänge" is a so-called deluxe edition (usually purchased by the officer himself) and in very good condition.The swastikas on the pictures are brushed out to avoid causing offence.Note: IMPORTANT!! 100% original German bomber crew back pack dated as seen in the pictures. The condition is excellent especially the leather work which is one of the reasons I bought it in the first place. There is a minor hole which doesn't effect the pack I'm just letting you know, again you can see this in the pictures. I had another pack which I sold as it wasn't in the great condition this one is in, the reason for selling now is that I do WW1 reenactment and obviously this is WW2 which is a shame as it would be a great to use. (British Petroleum) issued in Germany in for fliers.The next step was "Der Dienstunterricht in der Luftwaffe" then you were in the army and especially the Luftwaffe.And in the Adler Jahrbuch it is full on war and we ended up in .So 6 pieces that crystal clear prepared the youth to become Luftwaffe soldiers and pilots.
