Up for Auction today is 1 (one) Original Australian Army issue can openers found in all military ration packs. (as pictured in the first Picture) Not 1 box of can openers Surplus army issue These are the real can openers made from hardened steel Manufactured in stamped into the handle Great for opening cans.They no longer issue these in ration packs anymore as the army has switched to flexible foil mylar packs. so these can openers will become harder to get. I sold LOTS of these at camping shows, Guys would stop and tell me about the first time they saw a fred in the army ration packs blah blah blah, But i found out that it was the wives and girlfriends who would get down to business and rip open their handbags to buy more. No sales pitch needed for them, they know a rare bargin when they see one and didn't mess around. and always the same testimonials.
