Early 20th Century Writing Desk Art Deco style Please see an inherited item that I do not wish to see in a skip. The pull down front to make the desk is beautifully marked veneer, unfortunately slightly twisted at one side, The fittings are brass. As you can see there is some distress and wear throughout, one rear leg has splitat top, there is a severe mark on one drawer front and the top has some water marks, the top is a solid piece so would rub down. In the right hands this writing desk would restore nicely.

The bureau comes from Adam Bede. It comes in two parts and will fit in any car. Has 6 drawers for pens, stamps etc. and a leather insert in the writing section. It is very pretty. Bureau Writing Desk / Computer Desk / Storage Desk in

A refurbished / up-cycled writing bureau / computer desk. Painted with a Zinsser undercoat & two coats of white chalk paint, giving it a textured look. Sealed with two layers of Briwax which protects and gives it a nice sheen. The outside has been painted with chalk paint but the insides have been left as they were, giving a nice contrast. there is the odd imperfection but its got character and would look attractive in any home.
