Wonderful large Mary statue in baroque style. The statue has beautiful details and has a very serene feel. It is an early statue with a solid size, approx. 62 cm high, from . It is in its original unrestored condition, of course, it is somewhat worn, which is no surprise after approx. 250 years of intensive religious use. I have bought this beautiful item from Catawiki before, so the description was made by auctioneer R. Kamphuis.Solid gold brooch / tie pin (2-piece with necklace) First part is signed at the back with 'ar RE.CARCE '. This item of jewellery features 4 rubies and 18 seed pearls around a blue enamelled shield with inscription. The shield seems to be pierced by a sabre. There at two eyelets at the ends of the sabre, possibly there were things suspended from those. The second part, connected by a gold necklace, is a gold part with 16 seed pears in total (1 seems to be missing, but maybe this is how it should be, to accentuate the letter 'A') set in the letters AR.
