A sculpture of a saint carved from pine - presumably an apostle.It dates back to the 15th century. From the French or Spanish Pyrenees. The common style of this figure is typical of this region.The length of the carving is 50.5 cm. It is mounted on a wooden pedestal lined with velvet later on.The total height including the pedestal is 33 cm.The sculpture is missing both hands and has old-age damage.
