This is my Wilson Dory Flyer, it has a steel plated keel and GRP hull structure it also benefits with SS rails for many uses as originally used in Scotland for potting, a very sturdy boat with S/S fittings the Cabin would benefit from a refit and new window fitments I have also added a Bomer hatch worth (£180.) this is useful for anchoring and buoy tying of anchor locating when need be, I was preparing it ready for the next season but although I have started to refit, I am unable to finish the boat due to my wife's illness which has taken priority,(Naturally) and preventing me from finishing the project, The boat is 21ft in length and has an 7ft+ beam. it will fish 6 people very aptly, I had an Evinrude 75hp ptt /oil injection with full controls fitted on her which has since been removed, Also the items in the back of the boat will be removed before collection. The vessel sits on a 4 wheeled Super Roller Coaster trailer (Worth on it's own £) which comes with the sale of the Dory, the trailer brakes have been removed because of local launching on the club slipway, I don't see the point in having brakes on a trailer if it's only used for launching ? The wheel bearings are good, The tyres would benefit from an upgrade if the trailer is used to road tow etc...Situated in Port Talbot if anyone wishes to visual view outside the lock up which is most welcome but an in depth viewing must be made by arrangement. Wilson Flyer Dory 17.5ft.

I've owned this for 4 yrs and it has been great for fishing trips. I used this for fly fishing in Chichester harbour, and the odd trip to Bembridge IOW. The outboard I had is in a hundred pieces as I took it apart to give it a thorough overhaul. I don't have the time to paint it and put it back together, so it's not included in this listing. The controller in the photographs will be removed before collection. Since I have owned this boat I sprayed it with 3 coats of epoxy primer, and 3 coats of epoxy topcoat. When I bought it, the transom was totally rotten. I removed the rear 3ft of inner grp skin to fully access the transom. I removed all of the old rotten ply, and bonded and laminated in new marine ply. I then bonded and jointed the inner skin back into place. This transom will be good for donkeys years. I made cabinets in front of the centre console to house two 20 litre jerry cans of fuel, and also a starting battery and an auxiliary battery. (Batteries not included) The boat is on a Hallmark Rollercoaster 3 trailer. One of the best trailers on the market. Handbrake and wheel bearings are in good working order. i have a 17ft wilson flyer, comes with a yamaha 40hp autolube. the engine was serviced last september , so would prob need a service again, before going out to see, the engine works fine etc and pumps, water, goes in and out of gear, all works on the remote, come with kill cord. the boat does need abit of a clean and some tlc., re antifoul, paint needs doing inside cabin, window rubbers need looking at, etc, but nice stable family boat.the engine is pull start, but starts first pull, there is no trailer, sorry. only selling as been and bought a bigger boat.. the small engine is not included in the sale, and there is no trailer.

Wilson Flyer 20ft with Galvanised Roller Coaster style

Stand in lockable wheelhouse which has an internal swivel seat, but door opens up so when fishing you can face the stern. Hydraulic steering, all cables installed for engine but NO Engine fitted, you will require 70hp or more outboard engine. Flush deck with fish holds, tackle holds etc. Anchor retrieved using 'Capstan' from stern of boat to front over rollers. Tackle locker on door for hanging traces, mackerel/cod feathers etc. The boat will take up to 6 persons fishing but 4 is more comfortable and 2-3 is great. This boat was built with comfort and safety in mind and would easily take an inboard engine prop or jet drive. All bar the engine this is fit for the sea but some work and TLC will improve it such as new Windows (Perspex) paint up as boat is a bit scruffy but sound. There are loads of extras free with this boat & additional items such as fish finder chart plotter by Simrad, far too many to list. Trailer is a galvanised roller coaster style, but at the moment it is configured for a work trailer, with large wheels & tyres but would easily convert to a road trailer/beach launch with no problem. To buy a trailer like this would cost 3k (new) even 2k second hand, I am asking just £ for boat and trailer as I am moving away from the beach location where I live at Walcott and no longer fishing so good cheap deal. Photos do not do justice to the boat or trailer and as is can not be sea trialled I will guarantee its sea worthyness, comfort and its non-slam hull. I have been caught out in several force 6's & 7's with foot troughs, back if boat was always dry due to nice high gunnels & small bilge pump fitted in stern and at 20 knots slow & steady gets you home and I was always some 5-12 miles offshore when caught out, can't say much more. Hope you will come and look as price is very realistic, I won't move much on price asked but am willing to give and/or sell extras at a low cost price.
