William Lawrence Solid English Yew Dining Chairs Set of 6 (4 +2 Carvers). Danish Style, Genuine 's. These were owned by my parents from new. The seat pads are covered in brown material typical of the period but this could very quickly and easily be changed, depending on your personal taste. The padding underneath the cloth is in good condition and they are very comfortable chairs. Apart from that they just need a good polish-up with beeswax, but at just £125 for all six chairs they are an excellent bargain as just one English-made solid yew chair would set you back more than double that amount now. The chairs approximate measurements in inches are:- Height 39, Seat Height 19, Width (Plain Dining Chair) 19, Width (Carver) 21 & Depth 20. Here is 6 dining chairs, 2 of them are carvers. The chairs to be sure they were made by Stage which is a famous furniture brand. The 4 non-arm chairs size: seat width 50cm, depth 42 cm and seat to ground height 47cm. The 2 carvers size: seat width 50 cm, depth 42 cm and height 47cm and the ground to arm height is 65cm. For my experience, I think the wood is Yew which is a very expensive wood. The value of the chairs are the carved backs (picture 4, 5), arms (picture 6) and legs (picture 7, 8) as carved furniture is always expensive. The chairs physical condition is very good, no broken and no wobbly problem but the chairs' back (picture 5) has a little wear but this is complete doesn't affect any thing. The 4 non-arm chairs cushion can be roughly say clean (picture 9) but the 2 carvers cushions are not very clean. If you want to only buy 4 or 2 chairs, you can contact me, I can revise the advertise for you. Or see my other 2 advertises. I have a Stage dining table match these 6 chairs.
