William Lawrence Solid English Yew Dining Chairs Set of 6 (4 +2 Carvers). Danish Style, Genuine 's. These were owned by my parents from new. The seat pads are covered in brown material typical of the period but this could very quickly and easily be changed, depending on your personal taste. The padding underneath the cloth is in good condition and they are very comfortable chairs. Apart from that they just need a good polish-up with beeswax, but at just £125 for all six chairs they are an excellent bargain as just one English-made solid yew chair would set you back more than double that amount now. The chairs approximate measurements in inches are:- Height 39, Seat Height 19, Width (Plain Dining Chair) 19, Width (Carver) 21 & Depth 20.
