For sale is my Vintage blonde haired, green eyed Sasha Doll Baby in her original wicker cot One other outfit with her, a white cotton gown and matching pants Fully jointed smooth limbs. Original Stringing Strongly rooted hair. Unusual green eyes which is rare Originally one of the most successful play dolls being made from the mid 's to early 's in Germany and England. Sasha has a unique appeal. Beautifully proportioned and skilfully painted. She has a soft gentle expression that still appeals to both children and collectors. Named after their designer, Swiss sculptress Sasha Morgenthaler. No original boxes or tags I'm selling all my Sasha doll collection so please see my other items. My parents gave these to me when I was a child in the mid 70's. All from the toy shop Tridias in Bath. These mean a great deal to me but it is time they are loved by someone else. The sides are rigid with a solid rim around the top.Also comes with a mattress.It does have wear especially in view of its age, with some of the wicker scuffed and also some of the spokes are missing. It has been recently painted though.Approx 87 x 43 cms across the top. Heavy item.I am advertising it as a doll display or a photography prop. This is due to its age and condition and also because of Health & Safety regulations now, i would not recommend it for a real baby.However it is very 'shabby chic', it would make a nice project, and would look beautiful lined for doll display.
