Launched ong>forong> season this is Mountfield's first tractor in the sub ong>36ong>" cut category, received by all of our specialist dealers at its launch with real enthusiasm as a tractor which sets new standards in the market. This is the first tractor in the sub ong>36ong>" category to feature a ong>twinong> ong>bladeong>d ong>cuttingong> system. The ong>bladeong>s are contra rotating and direct the grass ong>cuttingong>s through the wide rear discharge chute into the collector. A ong>twinong> ong>bladeong>d ong>deckong> gives a better finish than a tractor with a single ong>bladeong>. The collecting is cleaner and more powerful due to the direct centre rear discharge and the throw and air volume generated by two ong>bladeong>s. The ong>cuttingong> result is also visibly improved as a ong>twinong> ong>bladeong>d ong>deckong> follows the ground contours better and is thereong>forong>e less likely to scalp the grass, ong>cuttingong> height range 25mm to 80mm, 7 positions. The grass ong>cuttingong>s are blown into the large 240 litre rear mounted collector, a large capacity is important as is the collector full alarm which automatically comes on to alert the operator that the collector is full. The collector is emptied from the drivers seat, simply pull the collector lever to tip out the grass. Engine: 432cc, Fuel Tank: 6 Litres, 5-Speed + 1 Reverse Gears, Cut: ong>36ong>" or 82cm The M has a manual transmission with 5 ong>forong>ward gears and reverse. You simply select the required gear and drive away, you do not change gear as you go along, simply stop, select and drive. The tractor has a comong>forong>table high back seat which is adjustable to suit the driver, the seat also features a safety switch which cuts the engine if the driver gets out of the seat with the ong>bladeong>s running. To engage the ong>cuttingong> ong>bladeong>s, simply pull the switch on the dashboard and the electric clutch does the rest. To turn off the ong>bladeong>s simply push the ong>bladeong> switch and the electric clutch engages a brake which stops the ong>bladeong>s in 3 seconds. The M is powered by a Mountfield 432cc four stroke engine, this OHV engine has loads of power ong>forong> this tractor. Manoeuvrability is another important factor to consider when choosing a tractor, with very light steering and an incredibly tight turning circle the Mountfield is a class leader. Keeping your tractor in tip-top condition is easy, the ong>cuttingong> ong>deckong> has a washing port fitted, simply snap on the hose fitting, turn the water on and run the ong>deckong> ong>forong> a minute and the jobs done! Mountfield garden tractor is a versatile machine as not only does it offer fantastic grass collection, with the fitting of the optional deflector the grass can be rear discharged, this is particularly useful ong>forong> long grass. Being able to mulch the grass is a great feature and with the fitting of the optional mulching plug the becomes a great mulching tractor. When the conditions are right you can mulch the grass and achieve the same finish as if you had collected, you really can't tell! There is also the benefit of returning vital natural fertiliser to your lawn. The can also be fitted with an optional tow bar which allows the fitting of many labour saving tractor accessories.
