Tentatively looking for a welsh section C or D type gelding, hh. Ages 7-20. Needs to be safe to ride, good in traffic, and to hack alone and in company. Must not be hot headed. Does need to be able to walk trot and canter and pop a small log/jump. Would love (but by no means a deal breaker) a flaxen chestnut or liver chestnut or roan, or even a bay blanket spot appaloosa! But colour is a cherry on top, not a deal breaker! For Sale- Moelddu George (aka George) Rising 5 year old, Welsh Pony (Cob type) Section C. George is a bay gelding with a perfect blaze and four white socks. He is just the most amazing pony you could ask for, even though hes still young hes been competing already. Bringing home a mixture of first and second places in showjumping and showing. He won section champion in Trawsfynydd show. George is used to be arounf kids and even had my 2 year old cousin on his back. George has been professionaly broken in for about 7 months and was worth having him turn out like this. As a young pony George still is abit green and obviously need abit of work done with him, but in my opinion hes doing so well. George could go very far in anything,mhe is capable of anything, hes rode on the A470 with lorrys ect, hes a perfect loader and just loves attention. 11hh welsh section A pony club lead rein pony

Our beloved pony Barney is sadly up for sale after 7 great years. All my children have ridden him from being toddlers and he has been their first pony so this is such a sad sale. He enjoys being worked and will whinny when he sees you bringing tack so it's unfair on him to be left without a job. I am advertising him as a lead rein pony as this is what he prefers in a schooling situation as he can be nappy without his leader in the arena and he much prefers having mum or dad to walk beside or even run in front. He will hack out perfectly off the lead and goes off your voice. He has been ridden around hopton x country off the lead and on the farnley ride and Escrick park. He will jump small jumps and has got a good jump but it's not something he enjoys. He is just ridden now and then at the moment but he is exactly the same ride how ever long he is left. Barney has been involved with all pony club activities including mounted games, mini camp, mini cross country, lessons and jumping with my daughter from being age 5. He has competed on the mini mounted games for 2 seasons on the lead and did wetherby weekend this year off the lead in the junior team and did great. Totally unfazed with a busy environment and does not get silly or excitable, he's very happy to stand on the line and just wait his turn and knows the equipment. When at shows he just stands patiently and nods off. He will ride and lead and is responsive to voice commands which is great for teaching little ones to canter on the lead. A shout of whoa quickly brings him back to walk! We've stayed away at shows and he is happy to be corralled in an pen and will not stress if left on his own, he just enjoys being out and having a job to do. He can be a bit grumpy to handle and will pull the odd face. He will live out with a shelter or come in at night and he is happy with both. He is very clean in the stable and will poo in a bucket at the back! He can be left for weeks and then ridden and he is exactly the same, just steady away. I've had her for 18 months and she has been a perfect lead rein for my son- excellent in traffic & in the school. Not done much jumping but can pop a cross pole with ease. 14.1hh 13 year old registered Welsh D gelding Rotherdale Viscount Ollie is a fantastic, stunning little pony, I cannot fault him in any way. He is very laid back & is not fazed by the slightest thing! He is good as gold to handle on the ground, clip, travel, load for the farrier, dentist etc. Stands lovely and quietly for whatever you ask of him. He is literally worth his weight in gold! I have had total novices on him including a 6 year old who was having regular lessons on him. I have showjumped Ollie, and he has shown great scope (as shown in photos) but since he was jumping more regularly he developed a more flatter jump, so does not cat leap anymore, and has a lovely comfy jump. He has done fantastic at dressage and has created some lovely scores! He is a bombproof hack, does not spook at anything unnecessary, canters beautifully in open fields & more than happy to be left behind or held back. Never gets strong or silly. Fantastic in heavy traffic, farm machinery, bikes, lorries, etc. He is a kick along ride unless you get someone on him that's knows how to push his buttons and make him work. He can be ridden in a hanging cheek snaffle or a Dutch gag as he always falls asleep when he is being ridden and can be a bit hard to turn if you have a child who cannot use their legs to back up the hands! But he is mostly ridden in a loose ring snaffle. Laid back at shows with and without company - does not call or get stressed. I genuinely think this pony would be a fantastic pony club pony for a competent child wanting to go out and compete and have good fun & parents not having to worry about their child not being safe! Ollie will not only keep your child safe but he will bring home the red rosettes! He has done various activities from le trec, beach rides, xc, sj, mounted games, horseball etc. This is a completely heartbreaking sale but work commitments & family problems are pushing me to the limit and I can just simply no longer cope. 5* home only & a lifetime home will have priority over anyone else!
