Solid pine Welsh dresser in great condition. I have just fully refurbished this piece of furniture. It has been fully sanded back. All the wood areas have had 3 coats of beeswax in 'dark oak'. The painted parts have been painted in 'Winter Grey' chalk paint (a very light grey). Brand new beach knobs have been used and waxed the same colour. This is a good quality dresser, dovetail joinery and tongue and groove throughout. It's very heavy and sturdy and will last many years. Hx189cm (6ft6") Wx153cm (5ft). Dx42cm. The wood was treated with the same varnish used at Hampton Court Palace, where the company used to restore and care for the Royal furniture. Dimensions: L 156cm H 196cm D48cm Difficult to show the real colour of the wood in the pictures, as they come out darker. So I have taken some while the sun was shining on it, which I am happy to forward.The dresser splits into 2 to carry: the heavier bottom half with drawers and storage, and the lighter top, linked together at the back. There are no deep marks nor scratches on the surface, only some signs of wear & tear on the inside of the big drawers, a chip on the bottom panel at floor level on the left hand side (see picture) and a small dent - both due to house move. 5ft Pine Welsh Dresser, pot dresser with two drawers

This Solid pine Welsh dresser was made for me in the s by a local pine shop. It is 5ft wide. the base is open at the bottom, which is why it is a Welsh pot dresser with 2 drawers over. The base is 29.5" high, the top is 42" high. The base and top are not joined together at all, making it easier for transporting. The top of the base does have some water marks but to my mind this just adds to it's charm, Only selling because we have changed our taste in decor and this no longer fits with our design.
