RUPERT 13.2hh strawberry roan gelding 5yo. Rising 6. Registered section C Rupert is such a perfect pony to do in all ways. Good to box/shoe/clip. Currently unshod. He is fantastic to hack alone or in company first or last and this is mainly what I have done with him. He has also been to the atherstone hunt Boxing Day meet which I could no fault his behaviour. I have also lunged Rupert over a fence and he's proven to have plenty of scope and potential. Rupert has not done much jumping under saddle, I have jumped a small log out hacking on him and was very green but willing to learn. I have not schooled him in the time I've had him, purely as I haven't had the time and from what I know he's not been in the school much before I brought him. Beautiful registered Welsh Section C gelding standing at 14hh. 6y/o. Clean limbed. Easy to do in all ways, good to load, groom, bathe, stand tied up and good with the farrier. He is a typical Welsh and is very cheeky. He has recently been taken back to basics with schooling work, he has three lovely paces, but he is still quite green and does occasionally need reminding of the correct lead in canter on his right rein, but he is very willing and wants to please, he is anybodys ride, he will happily plod around with a complete novice but will also step it up for a more experienced rider. I have just introduced him to jumping, which he loves, and I feel this is where he will excel with the right rider. He will hack out either alone or in company, he is good in all types of traffic and he is never silly or strong. He is very low maintenance and easy to keep. *Sold from the field* Extremely sad sale of our beloved 15 yr old Registered Welsh Sec C Gelding. He is being sold from the field as he hasn't been ridden in a couple of months due to me not having enough time due to a change in personal circumstances. When in regular work, he is the perfect lead rein pony. Never puts a hoof wrong and excellent to hack out. He's steady off the lead rein but is quite backward thinking so needs to be ridden forward. Once he gets going, he is great and can jump 60cm but he could do with a bit more schooling. He can snatch the reins when ridden but we've learnt to keep our hands soft at all times and this stops him from doing it completely. His only vice is that he does crib bite. I know this is a big deal for some people but he's such a great little pony in all other ways, it doesn't bother us. He will stand to be groomed all day. Excellent with the farrier & vet. We have him sedated for the dentist. He is a typical Welsh pony in personality. Only the best home for this little guy, he's brought my two daughters a lot of joy but I just don't have time for him.
