I'm looking for a horse for hacking mostly alone, occasional local showing and prelim dressage, nothing serious just fun. Although I'm a experienced home/ rider I'm not so brave anymore so no bucking, rearing, napping, spinning etc. I don't mind forward going, strong or little spooky as I rather enjoy a forward thinking horse. Must be good in all traffic. I have a yard with stables and plenty of all year round turnout with other horses (all geldings) for company. I would consider horses that wouldn't pass the vet as long as I'm told of any problems and horse could happily do what I would like. I am 50 and in my younger days used to show jump, before family life kicked in 30 years ago. I have done some hacking and schooling work since, but I haven't ridden for 6 years and want to get back in the saddle.
