Used WeeRide Deluxe - only used a handful of times, retails at around £100. This is the original and best front mounted child seat. This is because it isn’t actually front mounted, but is centre mounted. Front mounted seats put ad seats put all the child’s weight on the handlebars which means steering is more difficult, your child gets thrown around, and most importantly, are unsafe in our opinion if you need to stop quickly. Also, this works with all bikes (including full suspension mountain bikes)apart from bikes with dropped handlebars/racers. the centre mounted seat puts all the weight centrally and your child is safely wrapped in your arms. The first time you ride the seat you realise why the reviews are so good as it is such fun being able to chat to your child and point things out. This is a fabulous way of biking with your small child, as they sit in front of the rider by the handlebars so they get to see everything, instead of the riders back, and you can easily chat to them keeping them entertained. There is even a head rest to protect the child's head and offer a support shoukd they fall asleep (which my little girl did do). The seat was bought from new for our daughters use.
