Rudder, main sail and outboard bracket were all bought new not very long ago and are in like new condition. It has an overboom waterproof cover. Jibs are in sail bags. Wayfarer Sailing Dinghy wooden deck, nearly new sails and trailer

This is my much loved Wayfarer dinghy that I have owned for 25 years. She is the best of both worlds having a wooden deck and GRP hull She is fitted with the original Collars wooden mast but has new standing Rigging. The main and Genoa are around 5 years old but have had little use. There is also a working jib that came with the boat. Main has a set of reef points making the boat perfect for single handing. She comes with a good quality boom up cover, a cockpit tent for overnighting, a pair of oars and rowlocks and an anchor. The trailer was new 4 years ago and is in very good condition. GP 14 Sailing Dinghy with combi trailer

Eye-catching wooden boat in good repair for age. The GP14 class has been around since the late 's, and is equally at home on inland or sheltered coastal waters. GP stands for General Purpose, and that's exactly what they are. Hull paint and deck varnish in sound condition, with some variation in varnish colour, and internal varnish and raised floor non-slip deck paint is very serviceable. The boat is ready to use and enjoy for the season. Aluminium mast and boom, with kicker and horse mainsheet. Standing and running rigging in good order. Lifting wooden centreboard and rudder with aluminium tiller and extension. There are three mainsails, one with a non matching number is still pretty stiff and crinkly, with a jib and a genoa in similar condition. The other two are nothing to write home about, although one, again with a non matching number has 2 sets of reefing points and a flotation envelope at the head. I have not tried to use it There is a spinnaker, with yet another number, and pole, although the control lines and blocks etc are not fitted, and may not all be there. For storage protection an aged mast-up boat cover in working condition is included, with a small amount of damage around the rudder pintle. The no braked combination trailer and launching trolley is definitely not new, but the tyres and wheel bearings are in good condition, and the road axles are on isolastic type suspension units. The steel chassis are galvanised, and show no sign of corrosion. There is no safety chain/cable, so you may like to fashion your own, and there is no lighting board. There are 2 elderly life-jackets (not buoyancy aids), which can be manually inflated, or gas operated, but one has no CO2 cartridge, but are easy to obtain and replace. Wayfarer sailing dinghy 16' with trailer. in Redruth

Generally in good condition. It could probably do with a paint. The plywood decking inside has been repaired but is fairly easily replaceable. Have only had the boat 2 years but we didn't use it as much as we thought we would. There are no real problems with it as far as we can tell. It is complete with boom, mainsail and jibsail, rudder and daggerboard. The trailer has one perished tyre which we can replace. The winch ratchet has rusted stiff but the winch does work.
