White Glazed Ceramic Watering Can with Pretty Hand Painted F
I discovered this lovely ceramic watering can amongst some of my mum's belongings. Not being sure what type of ceramic it is made from (Earthenware?) I would not be certain that it should be left outside during the cold winter months but would be fine for use outdoors if preferred during the Spring to Autumn seasons? It would also be suitable for use as a display within the home either on its own or with plants/flowers? The main background glaze is White and finished in a pretty hand painted floral design in Pinks, Mauves, Yellows, Blues and Greens around the main body of the pot. There is also a mid Blue line around the top and bottom rim of the main body and this is also repeated around the edge of the handle. Also not really sure of the era but would suspect 's/'s? Overall dimensions are: 16 cm diameter to the main body 35 cm length (max) 18.5 cm height Weight: Kg Read More
