This is a really nice playable Washburn D25 Special 12 String in Natural finish - it has the unmistakable Washburn Wing headstock and the S special denotes exotic tone woods and fancy neck inlays - possibly Evankol although the Japanese builders did use Koa in the s terming it "Hawaiian Wood " on spec sheets. Ok sound wise it's big and bold like most 12 strings - good tonal string separation across all 12 strings and is bright and forceful - it has a new set of DAddario lights on there - usefully it comes with its original case which still has the keys in the storage box - - the action is low about 1.5 mil most of the way up the neck and there is little wear and lots of life in the frets - all in all a great s 12 string made in Japan and is now a vintage acoustic guitar - if you're looking for a nice 12 string and don't want to pay Martin or Takamine prices then this is for you! Condition wise it's an 8.5 or 9 given its age with one small scratch on the top otherwise really very good and nearmint throughout - I and the guitar will be at the Haydock Park NW Guitar Show on the 14th May and the Thame Guitar Show 4th June but it has had a lot of interest already I am happy to take a deposit then meet but unwilling to post it tbh Read More
