Warmblood Mare for Sale

HEARTBREAKING SALE - HONEST ADVERT Grace is a year old AES registered Warmblood mare. She has absolutely fantastic pedigree - sired by WHATS COLOUR IMP with the legendary SAMBER as her grandsire. I bought Grace at the start of the year out of the field in appalling condition. You could see every rib, she had awful feet, and was covered in mud fever and rain scald. I brought her home and turned her out to grass where she began to steadily put on weight, nursed her mud fever and rain scald, and my wonderful farrier has rehabilitated her once shocking feet! I intended to keep Grace forever, but unfortunately I have recently taken on a new job which has seen my time for the horses reduced dramatically. I have my own yard and 4 horses - and something needs to give, so unfortunately I've made the heartbreaking decision to find Grace the perfect new home for her to continue her journey. I had intended to show Grace inhand next season, and eventually bring her into ridden work. I know she has previously bred foals - but her ridden history is near and far between. I have managed to track down one of her previous owners who was unfortunately unsuccessful at breaking her - but she also had issues with her on the ground, which I have not seen! Grace has been nothing but a dream for me in every way - she's fabulous on the ground, she is fabulous with the farrier, she comes to call in the field, she's great to rug/brush etc - I have NEVER seen an ounce of mareish behaviour even when she's been in season - apart from flirting with the geldings that is! I've had tack on her - also not a problem. I was told by a previous owner it was a fight and battle to even get a bridle on but I have never had an issue - I pop a treat in my hand when giving her the bit (as I found the information out from the previous owner before I tried her with tack) and she has never been an issue. Grace still has some topline to gain but this will come with work and time I believe. I'm in no rush to sell - this is heartbreaking and I want the perfect home. Ideally, due to not knowing her ridden history and not wanting her to be passed around, I'd like her to go to someone as a broodmare or ideally as an in-hand show horse - I really believe she has the potential to go all the way to the top! Heartbreaking sale of my beautiful boy! Hes a 17.3 chestnut warmblood. Henry has just turned 12 in april and ive owned this boy for coming up 4 years, has lived in or out! Great with farrier! Passed a 5 stage vetting when i brought him. Uptodate with teeth and vacinations, This boy can be a sensitive soul who loves a one to one owner! In the years ive owned him hes turned from a horse scared of his own shadow to a lovely boy whos calmed down so much, his schooling is coming along nicely and has a nice jump on him but does need a conifdent experiened rider due to his size. I do think he has food potential in the right hands. Hes good to hack but would rather go in company! Been out to two unaffliated dressages last year and came 5th then 3rd. Two beautiful warmblood brood mares For Sale

Very sadly for sale due to family health issues and inappropriate land in the wet welsh hills. These are two of the loveliest mares, both have top European bloodlines. I bought them 2 years ago but unfortunately circumstances have changed. The first is a 15.3hh, chestnut registered and branded Westphalian mare by Fleurop, out of mare called Puriosa, both parents pedigree can be found on allbreedpedigree and sporthorse database websites. She has bred super foals and could as far as I know be brought back under saddle, apparently she did dressage to intermediate level, before becoming a brood mare. 16.2hh warmblood x TB mare for sale. Rosie is a 13 year old ex eventer, that in the last few years has ended up in the wrong home, and then gone through several homes until I ended up buying her from the field of a dealers yard. Unfortunately being naive after having just lost my horse of a lifetime, I was led to believe she would be the perfect horse for me once she was back in work. But unfortunately I am just overhorsed with her. If you are looking for a horse that you can ride twice a week or less, that you just want to have fun on, hacking out and schooling etc. Then scroll on as she is definitely not that. Rosie has a weatherbys passport as her Dam was a competing racehorse (Diplomatic Fashion VII), whereas her sire is a British warmblood called Heatley Avalon VII. Rosie is an amazing horse with fantastic dressage skills, I believe at some point she has been doing quite advanced dressage as she knows all the moves (unlike me), that thrives on being in a variety of work 5+ days a week. She loves routine and enjoys going off in the trailer to compete. Rosie is great to catch, lead, tie up, groom, tack up, bath, clip etc. She is brilliant with the farrier when being trimmed (she is currently successfully barefoot and has lovely solid hooves. She was also barefoot in her previous home also) and is also great for the vet, but needs sedation for the dentist. She had quite a lot of dental work done when I got her home and 6 months later, and has since just had routine rasping of all areas including the front teeth. Rosie is up to date with all vaccinations, teeth, and worming. When in regular daily work, Rosie is a fantastic horse that aims to please and is very showy with fantastic paces. She hacks out in company and alone, although in company she prefers to lead as she hates being behind any horse that is slower than her, as she has a big stride and easily covers ground. She is pretty much fantastic in all traffic as due to being next to a busy main road, she has had to face everything in the nearly 2 years we have had her. Rosie has never reared or bucked with us, however she has bolted on several occasions which has always been on the first time ridden after being off work several days or longer (normally due to us being too busy or bad weather etc). Unfortunately she just turns into a big ball of energy when not regularly exercised, and so she normally puts it into throwing dressage moves at you until she has relaxed, which if you are out hacking the last thing you want to be doing is a half pass in a controlled canter down the road, with the occasional pirouette and then continuing the half pass leading from her other side..... Occasionally she just feels the need to run it off (guess that's her mums racehorse genes running in her blood) and this is when she will just canter on the spot until she is able to go. Thankfully she only does this on grass, which is unfortunate for us as we only have a grass school..... However when we have hired out a proper sand and rubber school, she is so much better behaved and a joy to ride. Rosie loves being able to go somewhere to have an unrestricted gallop on a regular basis. This really helps keep her sane and then in-between she produces her best school work. My daughter has jumped Rosie and she goes over anything you point her at, but prefers bigger jumps of a very minimum of 2ft 6 or she just goes flat out towards them and gets frustrated. Rosie would be a fantastic horse for someone that knows how to do higher level dressage, is used to competition horses and has the time to keep her in regular work and take her out competing. She would do best on a busy yard with a good routine and a proper school to work in. Rosie thrives for a set routine and can get a little anxious if the routine changes. Rosie is currently not competition fit, and is not in regular work, so after reading this ad, if anyone is interested in Rosie, they will be seeing her 'at her worst'. It is due to this that we are only asking £800 for her, as it is most important that she finds the right home with someone that can work with her. Once fully uptogether and working with someone more experienced, she will be worth so much more.
