Waring & Gillow Antique Court Cupboard dated from the early 's. Painted in a custom blend of teal and blue paints applied in a layered technique. Large Oak Sideboard by Waring and Gillow

Old solid oak Sideboard made by Waring and Gillow. The large top drawer bears the makers plaque of authenticity. The Sideboard comprises of two cupboards one at each side. The right hand cupboard houses two small shallow pull out drawers lined in green cloth, probably used as cutlery drawers. There are two wide drawers to the centre. A shelf runs the whole length of the Sideboard below. The Sideboard has ornate mouldings to the cupboard doors and drawers and along an upstand running across the back. The Sideboard is in good condition with only a small marked area to the top which has been repolished.The Sideboard is French polished. The Sideboard is priced to sell. Ad ID:

A truly beautiful piece of furniture. Made of solid dark wood with a lovely reddish tinge. Reluctantly selling only because it deserves better than getting slowly destroyed by our toddler (so far it has escaped damage)! The only thing wrong with it is that shortly after purchase, the lock for the glass door fell out (though we still kept it, so you could easily mend it). Other than that, it is in very good condition. The shelves can be adjusted to fit different sizes of books. It comes with 2 keys and all three sections can be locked.
