WANTED: Weekend Groom

We are currently looking for a weekend groom at Stoneacre, based in Little Brington. We need a competent and confident individual who is capable of managing day to day activities on a small yard. You would be the sole individual so would need to be reliable and capable of handing a range of horses and ponies. Daily duties include: * Feeding am and pm * Rug changes am and pm * Turn out and bring in * Picking out feet * Check and fill field waters * Routine checks to ensure fields and fencing is in good order * Poo picking * Mucking out * Tidying the yard * Bedding down * Grooming * Making of am and pm feeds * Filling water buckets * Making and weighing haynets Plus various other jobs to ensure smooth running of the yard. The position is for Saturdays and Sundays Hours are: 5hrs daily (3 and 1/2 hrs in am and 1 1/2 in pm) There is space to bring own horse but you would be required to pay livery.
