--Wanted-- 1 or 2 bantam hens to join my little flock. Not fussy about breeding or age (although I'd prefer 2yrs or older). No cockerels! My current ex batt hens sleep in a house that is raised 3ft off the floor, but my bantam cockerel is scared of heights so sleeps in a low house by himself. Looking for a bantam hen or two to share body heat during the winter (and for the rest of their lives) My birds are cleaned out daily, and are fed on gmo free or organic pellets, crumb & corn, plus supplementary bits and peices. They have two pens and are given a few hours to roam the rest of the garden every day. They are all regularly treated for internal and external parasites and their houses disinfected every fortnight. Happy to pay for healthy birds and I welcome a home check. Upper Calder Valley area preferably. Hebden Bridge, Todmorden etc, but flexible. Read More

URGENT NEED REHOMING ASAP 2 beautiful penkin bantam hens for sale 1 is a mixed chocolate and black she is 1 year and 1 month old and we have her chick who is smoky grey and white which is 15 weeks old the oldest chicken has been handled a lot and loves being stroked and fussed she also loves being vocal and will happily respond when called. the pullet has not been handled as much but she is also super friendly we would like them to go as a pair as they have never been apart. They are family pets and have been brought up with some amber star (medium sized chickens) so they are both used to other chickens plus cats and dogs. selling due to lack of space for them they were free range and had run of the garden but we have had to put them in a run as space is limited.
