Wanted small/medium dog for lively family

we are looking to rehome/adopt and small/medium dog, we are not fussy on breed/mixed breed however it must be child friendly and used to being around children. We don't want a puppy, ideally the dog would be between 2-5 years old, neutered/spayed, toilet trained is a must. We can offer a warm bed, lots of walks, large garden, attention and lots of cuddles. I work from home so someone is always at home. We lost our dog November, we rehomed him in and now feel ready for another as our home doesn't feel the same. Two parents, two children (7 and 15) and one spoilt cat seek canine companion to become part of our family and make us complete. We insure all our animals against injury or illness and they are registered in the Healthy Pets Club at our local vets to keep their vaccinations, worm and flea treatment up to date. All we ask is that the dog be no smaller than a beagle.. and no larger than an Alsation.. that it be no older then two or three years old.. that it be good with children and good with cats.. and that it be healthy. During the day the dog will go to work with my husband, so must be happy to be around people and be good at recall.
