Probably looking for the impossible!! After not riding for 5 months due to serious ankle injury. I am now looking to give a 10* home to my forever friend. Looking for a calm, sensible not sharp or spooky 14.2 up to 15.2hh gelding. Got to be 100% in traffic not just farm machinery. Hack alone or in company and not strong. Absolutely no vices in or out of the stable and must love children as I have two grandchildren who will be around quite a lot. Ted is a 15hh true middleweight 4 year old skewbald Irish Draught x Cob Gelding. This young horse is so mannerly and sensible, always waiting for the next command as he is young but willing to learn and please. Stunning registered section D I have Mr Roberts 2 wonderful years. I bought off a 12 year old girl + he was her 1st pony! He is excellent in heavy traffic good to box travel + catch he is barefoot all round but has been shod in the past! He will hack out only in company first or last. Lives in or out. If you are looking for a safe sensible ride then this is your chap! He is no bother and will have a try at everything. What he is: The next step up from a dope on a rope! He has a brain, but he's not out to test you all the time. A grooms favourite, as he is no hassle to deal with. Even my non horsey husband manages him with no problems. He is great to catch, handle, clip, box, travel, shoe etc. He lives in or out. He turns out with mares or geldings. He is safe, sensible, honest and genuine. He's technically a mild windsucker, but he does not crib. He needs more leg than hand, so would suit a nervous rider. He can be ridden by any member of the family, from beginner upwards. He is good to hack and in traffic, he will go alone but is happier with company. He is a perfect riding club type horse.
