Cuckoo Marans are lovely birds, laying deep brown eggs. They make excellent back garden poultry as they are friendly and inquisitive. Currently free range on grass. They are typically a large docile bird. All birds sold by us are vaccinated. Vaccination certificates can be supplied if required. Parent birds are available for inspection. Please note, live birds cannot be ordered online and are collection ony from Warwickshire. Cuckoo marans hens

I have for sale a few cuckoo marans pullets, 18 weeks old so point of lay, last weekend in February. Home hatched and raised, they are expected to lay attractive dark brown eggs in about a month, although this varies a lot. I've had them lay as early as 17 weeks and as late as 25. I also have a couple of marans/legbar crossbreeds who will lay green eggs and some green legged partridge chickens (zielononozka kuropatwiana) who will lay a white or cream coloured egg and are the same age.
