Over twenty years experience, I'm 44 years old and need a safe & sensible happy hacker, I do have some health issues and I'm happy to be 100% honest with you and discuss it so you are assured you are choosing the right owner. I'm looking for something only please NO WELSH, either mare or gelding im not fussy as I've owned both from TB'S to Cobs & Arabs, close to Sutton Coldfield as I'm in Mere Green but willing to travel within reason, I've been out for 2 years now after losing all my confidence, been over 18 months since I got on a horse and I'll be honest I need to get back, age is not a problem and a sensible youngster is not out of the question as long as not too green and can be held back, Ideally in the age group of over 5 but under 15 please, horses are not a hobby they are the love of my life. I'm looking for a safe and sensible horse, approx 14hh-16hh weight carrier/stocky type. Any age but minimum 6 years old as not looking for something totally green. I'm an experienced rider and my family have owned horses since I was 4 years old but due to not being able to ride regularly for a couple of years my confidence has degraded. For this reason I'm looking for a horse that is completely safe, good in traffic, happy to hack alone and in company. Good to catch and shoe etc. Not spooky, or too strong. I am looking for a horse to share. I am fifteen, and have been riding since i was eight, but haven't ridden in year due to my stables closing down. Ideal height would be somewhere between 15.4hh and 16.5hh, although a bit taller probably wouldn't matter too much. I would like to be able to ride 2/3 times a week, once in the weekend, but I wouldnt be able to come before school in the weekdays. I would do anything from hacks, to training in arenas, but I don't have much experience jumping, although I would like to learn. I also don't mind grooming/mucking out.
