Eye catching 14hh Arabian Connie cross. Very brave and honest, 110% bombproof, only for sale due to me needing something bigger and with more potential. At home I've been schooling him over 1.25m and he jumps it without second thought. Brilliant in all disciplines and goes into an outline with no bother when schooled regularly. Pops round a course of cross country jumps with no issues and you can put all your trust in him and he'll look after you without a doubt. He jumps courses of 80cm/90cm with no refusals or reluctance, has the scope to go much higher I've just never had the chance as I've only recently got all my confidence. Placed four times at national level jumping, all in top 5th, always comes home with rosettes. Recently represented pony club at regional level dressage and our team was placed 4th. I've been schooling him over most of the open jumps at cross country rally's and jumps them as honest as he can. Good for vet, farrier, loading ect. I have a window of four to six weeks without any riding. My beautiful girl stood on a nail two weekends ago and is currently on box rest awaiting the outcome of an operation. I am walk/trot/canter fit and have land and stables adjoining the Brechfa forest,just ten miles outside Carmarthen. Maybe there is someone with a horse/pony out there,that needs exercise getting fit for the oncoming showing or LDR season. Fantastic ten star horse accommodation with our house, ten paces from the yard. I'm retired,at home all day and ten and a half stone. I have been riding for 40 years,and need to continue so I don't get saddle sore (again) awaiting my mare to get better. PLEASE no nutters,I need something that will stand to be mounted from a block,hedge row,bridge etc as the forestry riding throws up all amount of obstacles. Also must be able to be ridden on our tiny lanes that sometimes have tractors etc on them. I know that it takes weeks and weeks of walking up hills and down dales to get a horse fit,we have the hills and I have the time. Any horse coming here will need to be shod and sound,as the forestry tracks and streams,rivers have loose stones. Anything considered. No cost either way. I will provide feed,hay,polos and carrots and a lovely bed. This is a Genuine advert. I hadn't ridden for 5 years before getting my new girl a year ago,and don't want to have to start again,on her recovery.
