I am looking for a hh horse to slowly go up the levels and keep my confidence as I progress from ponies to horses. I am 14 so I am looking for a straightforward horse that is perfect to be handled. I am not inexperienced and we are offering a 5* home. Preferably nothing older than 10 years old. Limited/ realistic budget. Mare or gelding. There is a limited time we are willing to travel.

I have many years experience BE, BD and hunting but as my most recent horse has found her limit at BE100 I am looking for something with the quality and temperament to move up the levels. -Absolutely must have the ability, class and temperament to eventually compete easily at Novice BE and above. -Preferably gelding. -Colour irrelevant. -Looking for something 2 to 7 ish, 16hh to 17hh ish. No problem with a very green horse who hasn't done much providing the temperament is there- does not need to be shod however should be relatively easy to handle, hack alone and good in the stable, bonus if it has been clipped before. Important that it can travel alone (trailer). Sharpness not a problem however won't have a horse with a serious nap or a habit of going up. I'm looking for a horse for hacking mostly alone, occasional local showing and prelim dressage, nothing serious just fun. Although I'm a experienced home/ rider I'm not so brave anymore so no bucking, rearing, napping, spinning etc. I don't mind forward going, strong or little spooky as I rather enjoy a forward thinking horse. Must be good in all traffic. I have a yard with stables and plenty of all year round turnout with other horses (all geldings) for company.
