Wonderful Happy Loving Type Happy Hack

Super little horse needs 5 star loving home where he can be safe and secure. Fun and easy to hack, forward but not fizzy, superb canter and easy to do. Been an racehorse that then played polo and now needs quiet life hacking about. He could be schooled to do a bit of dressage but not really his thing and prefers tootling about on a loose rein. Bonnie, 15.2hh, 7 year old, is a fantastic little mare looking for a quieter easier life. Due to hind leg Suspensory injury and a little Arthritic on front leg she is more suited for hacking. She is very easy to do, hacks alone, in company, used to farm machinery, great on roads, easy to catch, never gets fizzy etc. Bonnie can live in or out but does prefer company when turned out. Beautiful grey mare irish x 15hh 13 years Im looking for a very special home for my lovely mare whose been with us as a Mother /Daughter share for 7 years. She has taken part in local SJ HT XC Dressage, and took us both hunting. Due to the onset of arthritis she is now looking for a light hacking home, 3/4 times per week. She hacks out with her field mate and does hack alone but can occasionally be nervous. She is very sweet and gentle very good doer and tidy in stable. companion/light hacker She's 13.2h and 22 years old. Unsure of history but we have had her for 2 and a half years and although we promised her a forever home but due to personal circumstances that has changed. She can be lightly hacked and equally happy to be out in the field with some fussing and attention. Doesn't like to be left on her own for too long. When tacking up she can be a bit sassy with the girth. Reassurance that she's not going to get hit helps a lot. She hasn't been ridden since January but she is never fresh when ridden. She's perfect for beginners on lead rein and onto first ridden, very responsive and looks after little people. She has a sensitive mouth and knows how to neck rein. She has been trained by clicks instead of kicks as that's what she responds to best. She is under no circumstances to be jumped. She doesn't like it and will refuse every time. Videos are available of her being ridden by children. This is a very difficult decision and hopefully she can stay at present yard with lots of attention that she deserves. Harry is a 15.3 idxtb 16yr young. He damaged his check ligament 18 months ago, and has been turned away for that time. Ridden lightly last week with no ill effects, ready to bring back into light work. He has missed being ridden, but would need careful bringing back and his muscle building up. *Acer* 14.1hh Tri-Coloured Cob X gelding. 8 years old. Hacks out IN COMPANY as this is the only thing he has ever known. He will go in front on occasion but is much happier just following. He is super safe to ride and suitable for a novice. Good in heavy traffic, on all roads and not silly in open spaces or on grass. Acer was bought for our riding school and has been used by us on treks but unfortunately doesn't enjoy being in the arena and we need more of an allrounder on a long term basis as we are only a small yard and this is the reason for his sale. He's good to do in all ways both in the stable and field. Good with farrier, vet, catch, load and travel. Currently unshod but would benefit from a pair of front shoes. Fully passported and chipped. Has been vaccinated but will need restarting. He has a small indent to his face where he was kicked as a foal but his markings mask this and it does not affect him in any way. Spirit is your very typical thoroughbred! He gets stressed out easily and does not hold his weight through winter! Saying this he is also the sweetest horse ever. I have owned spirit for 4 years and within this time we have competed in dressage, showjumping and cross country. Due to his age I am only selling him as a happy hack and low level dressage horse, he will happily jump a few jumps for fun but he does get quite stiff in he hocks of too much has been done. As I have mentioned he is quite a stressy horse, he isn't the biggest fan of being in the stable and will box walk and tries to weave, he can be quite bolshy so needs an owner who is not afraid to take charge and tell him what's what. When undersaddle he is the perfect gentle man, he is 100% anyone's ride, he will hack alone but will call out for majority of the ride but won't cause you any hassle is literally just calls out, he is perfect in company and I can just walk him buckle end for majority of the ride. There isn't much that he is afraid of, he has hacked down the busiest of roads seeing big artic lorries (he gets a little nervous if they overtake him but doesn't do anything silly) and speeding cars. He isn't afraid of other animals like cows sheep and pigs. His biggest downfall is tractors, he is terrified of them. Once he has settled into a yard and with the other horses he is such an easy horse to deal with, sometimes you forget that he is even there, but it does take a while for him to get comfortable, he is best suited in a herd as he does get attached if he is only in a pair, when In a larger group he will quite happily be left in the field on his own of all other horses need to come in. He is 18 years old and has lived quite a full life but is just looking for that steadier life now. 700 includes saddle, bridle and rugs. Read More

For sale sports horse gelding 16hh, 10 year old. I decided to retire Charlie from competing last year as he seems to like to have a slower pace in life so has been turned away and living in the field since last August. I have another horse I compete and paying two lots of livery is proving quite expensive. How ever much I would love to keep him I feel now is the time to sell him for Some one else to enjoy him. I would really like him to go to a happy hack home or non competitive rider he just likes to take things in his stride and loves going out for rides. Very smart 9yo registered fell gelding suitable as a light hack/companion due to intermittent lameness. Excellent to handle by adults and children. Very loving, more like a big dog! Would make an excellent companion as he turns out with mares or geldings, and can be left on his own. Could equally be suited to someone wanting to plod around the countryside as he enjoys going out. 15.1hh chestnut mare, though really is not a typical "chestnut mare" I had this mare as a companion to my old mare, and she is currently a companion to my miniature Shetland who is also her companion. I have only ridden this mare on the roads, and no traffic fazes her, not even a local hunt galloping next to her and she plodded down the road on a long rein! I do not have the time for this mare that she deserves. She is currently sound and would probably enjoy being slowly brought back into work, though this mare has previously been in a riding school I wouldn't recommend a novice to take her on for riding. Saying that I use to hack her from a head collar rather than a bitted bridle. On the ground she is a true dope on a rope. She will stand for hours to be groomed, she has excellent stable and field manners. She's easy to keep and is currently bear foot. She is sold as seen from field.
