We are looking for a small dog who is looking for a forever home to join our family. We would love a young dog who would be happy to join us on daily walks around our local park, running around the garden, and trips in the car to the seaside and nature reserves at weekends and who would be comfortable meeting our friends, their young children, dogs of all sizes and a couple of confident cats (although none of them live with us). I work from home, so it would be lovely to have a dog to keep me company in the day. We have looked after several dogs at our home and are happy to give you the details of our friends if you would like a reference- we understand that rehoming a dog can be very difficult and you want the best for them! We would also be more than happy to send you updates if you wanted them. We live in the Harrow area and would ideally like to be able to visit a dog (or have them visit us) to make sure that they will be happy with us. We are however happy to travel anywhere if we are confident that the dog is a perfect fit! Pedigree or how a dog looks is not important to us, but temperament is. We need a dog who is fairly laid back and is happy to be with me whilst I work without becoming possessive when my husband comes home (an issue we have experienced with visiting dogs) and who is happy to go for lunchtime walks and come along with us on our weekend adventures. We have specified 'small dog' because we don't have a big car! But we don't need a toy breed, and are flexible about size as long as they would be safe on the back seat of our car. Hello! I'm posting an add in hope that someone will be looking to rehome a dog, I can assure you to a wonderful family. Working only part time (14 hours a week) means I have a huge amount of time and I'm looking for a dog which I can dedicate this too. I love adventuring and camping so I'm looking for a medium sized dog (maybe even a larger breed) who would be capable of coming on some longer adventures with me. I live in a house with a large garden and family, our schedules mean the dog will very rarely be left alone (maybe once a month for 2-3 hours at most) however, we do have a small child in the house, she absolutely adores dogs but this means the dog will need to be okay around all small children although I will always monitor their interactions. I live just by port sunlight and have easy access to all the surrounding beaches which I'm sure the dog will love just as much as us.
