I am looking for a Belgian Hare to have as a pet. I am a very experienced rabbit/hare owner/breeder with 20 years experience. Currently have lionheads, Netherland Dwarves and Rexes. I am a non breeder and most of my rabbits have been rescued. They have daily access to runs and are kept in hutches in a garage at night, ideal for hot summers and cold winters (a heater is on with them then!). Rose 2-3 years old Black and Tan Belgian Hare doe. Rose does not like being handled, she needs a home with an open space to live where she won't be bothered or handled much, it stresses her out. She is a naturally overweight rabbit, and should not be indulged in treats making the situation worse, a strict feeding regime is required to keep her weight at a safe level. Rose was hand reared by myself from 10 days old. Pet-only home wanted. This rabbit is not available for couriering and must be picked up in person, at which point i will require you to sign a legal contract stating she cannot be bred from and must not be sold on or rehomed in future, but returned to myself, and should that contract be broken i will take legal action.
