Beautiful black passported mare - 9 years old. 14.2 hh This mare was brought for my daughter to regain her confidence and she has done this one million percent. She is great to catch, load, groom, bath and for the farrier only shod on the fronts as has great feet.... happily lives in or out is very clean in the stable. She will hack all day long and would excel at endurance rides.... she hacks alone or in company.... never fizzy or hots up and is snuffled mouthed at all times. Saracen is a forward going, but responsive ride, who is good to do in all ways. He is snaffle mouthed at all times, but not suitable for a complete novice as can be forward going. He has done a bit of everything in the past with me, but now he’s older, would suit a predominantly hacking home. He loves hacking and is safe out, alone and in company, and isn’t fazed by anything. He is good on the road and in open fields, and has never reared, bucked or bolted. He is good for the dentist, farrier, vet and to clip. Saracen has a large character, but is always honest, and will look after the rider. He has some medical issues, hence his price, so would suit an easier life with a knowledgeable owner. This is a difficult decision to sell our beautiful horse but due to lack of time we are selling Sky. She is a lovely mare and I think she would be best suited in a happy hacker home. She has jumped in her previous home and she has been jumped by us but nothing much, she does seem to enjoy it when she does jump. Looking for a pony/horse for hacking only and the odd beach ride. I am 50 years old and have ridden on and off all of my life but am looking to return to riding on a regular basis. I have my daughters old pony (25) and a little rescue mare and have plenty of grazing and a stable to offer (winter). The yard that my horses are on leads directly out on to a busy main road so the horse MUST be traffic proof. Based near Meopham, Kent in a small DIY yard.
