Here's what Wampler says about the Euphoria Pedal: When Brian created the circuit that would eventually become the Euphoria, he was working on creating a pedal that would go from clean tones to distorted tones while adding a bit of warmth. He wanted something for himself that would be dynamic, have a great sounding "gritty" tone to it yet be able to respond to the volume knob like a tube amp. Everything about Brian is in the dynamics of sound and if a pedal can't work with him dynamically, then he just can't use it. The Euphoria is his take on that elusive tone and feel made famous by Dumble Amplifiers - smooth creaminess yet crunchy when you need it to be, yet the tonality is much more transparent than other "dumble sounding" pedals. Very responsive tone controls that interact with the pedal - they don't just "color" the sound. The controls actually affect the response and feel of the pedal, just like a great tube amp. If you love the sound of your clean tone, and just wish you could have more "hair" on the note... a little bit of grit without any change in tonality, the Euphoria will do that with ease. PLUS it's extremely flexible... with the toggle switch in the down position you'll get a hint of fuzz along with the overdrive, it's reminiscent of the tones that "Eric Johnson" may use. With the toggle in the up position the tonality is super smooth, creamy yet crunchy when you dig into the strings. This is reminiscent to the famous "Dumble" tone, though it's really much, much more than that. In the center position, the toggle will give you tons of crunch, or roll the gain back a bit and push the volume up and you have a superior clean boost with a 2 band EQ that's extremely transparent, but variable so you can actually turn it into an awesome treble booster just by cranking up the treble and turning the bass down. Analog Man Prince Of Tone Guitar Boost, Overdrive & Distortion Pedal

A rare opportunity to buy this extremely high quality boutique overdrive, boost and distortion guitar pedal that is notoriously difficult to get hold of. The Prince Of Tone overdrive is one side of the famous King Of Tone, designed to take an amp at reasonable settings, and make it sound like it would sound if it were naturally driven to pure, smooth, tube distortion. It was fine tuned with a s Fender Deluxe Reverb amp to duplicate the sound when the amp is singing, but at lower volume settings - to simulate the natural tube amp distortion of preamp and power tubes. It does the same thing on other amps like Vox, Marshall, etc, making them sing in their own voice. It has an external Mode switch to select between Boost, Overdrive and Distortion modes. There is a Treble trimpot is inside, just like the King Of Tone and two DIP switches. DIP1: LO-MID lift switch. The tone from your lower strings will be enhanced a little. DIP2: TURBO switch- with higher gain settings you?ll hear deeper compression, especially in DIST mode. You will hear a brighter, crunchier sound with this on at higher DRIVE settings. The three modes are: 1) Normal Overdrive mode (OD mode): This is the standard King Of Tone sound, - a touch more drive available than a tube screamer. Can get much louder than a tube screamer. 2) CLEAN mode: This mode has less distortion, it can be used for clean boosts or clearer, louder sounds. It's sort of a cross between a true clean boost and an overdrive. CLEAN MODE is even less compressed and louder than the OD mode. 3) DISTORTION mode: more drive than the standard mode- a touch of hard distortion. The sound is more compressed, yet retains the pedal's character. Same volume as OD mode. At low DRIVE settings, or when playing softly, there is not much difference between the three modes, they all can get pretty clean and have the same level at low drive settings. The ability to clean up when playing softly is a very useful feature of this pedal. The pedal is in absolutely mint condition having had occasional light studio use only and never been gigged. Manufacturer's Description: After introducing the popular TightMetal Pro and BigRock Pro distortion pedals in , Amptweaker started working on the 2 button version of our popular TightDrive. With its (included) Fat and Smooth switches, the TightDrive Pro can get all the familiar tones from our popular TightDrive pedal, and with the Gain switch turned OFF, transparent overdrive tones are plentiful. Here's the default unity-gain transparent boost setting to use as a starting point: Unlike most 2-button overdrive pedals with boost, the TightDrive Pro includes 2 Boost knobs, one before and one after the distortion... so it’s easy to boost the gain AND volume, for the perfect solo tone. And per customer requests, the 'Boost' Volume control has also been tweaked to allow cutting of the volume when the Gain is boosted, so it's easier to balance the volume.
