Here I have for sale a 17" wide Exselle gp saddle in fantastic condition. I have classed this as new other as it has only been used twice but sadly does not fit my new horse. This saddle is built on a Walsall riding saddle tree which is ply bond so well built sturdy but lightweight. Fantastic saddle that puts you in a great position for all disciplines, I planned on jumping in this saddle (but never got chance) I bought this saddle direct from Saddles direct in new condition. Would be a nice saddle for showing in with the two tone colour. Looked very nice on my bright bay skewbald! I have had this saddle checked by my local saddle fitter who valued the saddle at £650, with her offering me £400.. Which I obviously turned down! (Rrp £799! Through saddles direct) haven't looked at prices of this saddle elsewhere.

I have two saddles for sale both 17.5 inches and medium - medium wide fitting in brown, full leather and both Ideal. The GP is quite forward cut, more of a GPJ and has lovely big (removable) knee rolls but it still allows you to get in a nice position for flat work. The seat and knee rolls have grained leather so it's nice and grippy. Stamped by Martin Wilkinson and made on a specification by him on an ideal tree. The dressage is an Ideal Jessica, a lovely saddle leather all over (not half suede seat). Lovely saddle to ride in. I am selling my 16.5 inch gp saddle that was made for my youngster 9 months ago by Dave Johnson at the Walsall saddle company. It is 9 inches from center of D - D ring. This is made of brown leather on the top, and surge underneath. It is very slightly scuffed at the edge of the saddle flaps at the front, which I have shown in photos (its not obvious when riding, I have been doing ridden showing in this saddle and still done well). I am selling this saddle as seen from photos. The reason I am selling is that my youngster has drastically changed shape and it's no longer wide enough, so this will go towards the funding for my new saddle. I have regularly cleaned and oiled the saddle so it's well looked after. Happy bidding, any questions please ask.

Heritage (Walsall) 17" GP saddle. Overall a used saddle in good condition.  Needs a clean. Sound, supple and has been used regularly.  Has some scuffs and wear and there are tiny bumps (which may scrape off) on some of the leather but this is superficial, the saddle is useable, comfortable and will polish up with some elbow grease fantastic  Signs of wear include some wear to stitching on panels but its very useable and easily rectified, in my opinion.  It doesn't affect me using it at all. Collection welcome.
