The Irish range is no exception - offering a high performance rug that gives great value for money an super flexibility to suit your horses needs.   The Irish stable rug is part of a mid-level collection that offers superb value for money whilst retaining many of the great functions and design of a Bucas rug with a fantastic price tag.   As seen from the images, the design of the Bucas Irish stable rug is a simple and very comfortable design for the horse. The outer of the rug is a D rip-stop outer that is smooth and slippery, ensuring bedding does not stick. The inner of the rug is a slippery nylon that slides easily over the horses coat, helping to prevent rubbing and chafing.   The outer design of the rug is anatomically shaped to fit closely and comfortably around the horses chest and withers. The front of the rug has a padded overlapped section that has a male to female surcingle type fastener with a velcro strap that covers over the fastening. The neck section is set slightly higher and has two darts at either shoulder. These darts allow full freedom of movement to the horse in the stable and relieve pressure in this area. Unlike rugs with pleats and gussets at the shoulder - this dart system helps to prevent tears and rips in the fabric and discomfort to the horse.  The rug comes in two different weights - the light is recommended for use from 5 degrees to 12 degrees and the "extra" is recommended for use from 8 degrees down to minus 12 degrees.
