Walkies rehoming centre is set on a 13 acre farm with the river Amman close by. We have a play barn and a Cwtchy cottage to keep our rehomers entertained and in luxury! We also have a dog grooming facility and lots of space for our rehomers to explore and lots of four legged pals to play with. Plus we live alongside the river so plenty of swim time fun! All our rehomers are treated like part of the family. We are privately run,, so have time to get to know each rehomer and retrain them if necessary, we have no time limits, this means we can get to know your dog inside out, find out all their likes and dislikes and sort out any unwanted behaviour so they can find the best home suited to them. We don't rehome on a first come first served basis, we choose the home that is best for your dog. Whilst your dog is in our care they are well loved, receive play time and training daily, treats and lots of cuddle time. We can up date you on your dogs progress too and have a face book page so you can see photos of your dog. We keep in touch with all our rehomers and have contracts and home checks in place. We specialize in pack behaviour at Walkies and nervous aggression. Problem dogs are not a problem as we have an on site dog behaviourist and dog groomer too. I have been trawling the 'dog to good home - free' ads, for some time and got v.close a couple of times but alas remain disappoineed. I'm a nurse & my partner works from home so a dog would never be left alone. We both go out a lot metal detecting so I think any dog would love frequent visits to the beach.
