I bought this Bass new in and have gigged with it less than 10 times. It has spent it's life being used at home and in the studio.   Mark 1 Wal custom Bass 4 string

Hi, after much soul searching i have finally decided to sell my beautiful Wal Bass, the bass was manufactured in and has wenge facings with a very unusual and striking blonde strip running the whole length of the bass front and back. The bass is 30+ years old so is not in pristine condition but is still a 9/10 for me,some light wear on the headstock end edge (the usual type of wear) and the laquer has slightly worn and slightly discoloured above and below the neck pick up but its only through normal playing, to keep her safe she comes with the original brown Wal case which is still in good condition with all clasps working.The bass speaks for itself as in the top quality craftsmanship and playability and it has a sound that still makes the hairs on my neck stand up even now. I will be sorry to see her go but needs must and the bass spends all its time on a stand instead of being put to good use i would prefer a cash sale but will take a paypal regards Derek  NOTE... re-listed due to a time waster, no international buyers please unless you contact me first for a firm courier costing and no members with feedback less than 10 regards Derek

Wal Bass guitars were produced since the 's by Electric Wood Ltd in High Wycombe in England and are highly sought after instruments. This bass guitar is no exception. It has a original bridge and tone/volume knobs and features a beautiful top and back, a mahogany body, Rose fingerboard and black/chrome hardware. The bass comes with the original Wal rectangular case and guitar toolkit. The case is also in excellent condition with all the locks and hinges working perfectly. This was made in May and is in very good condition for it's age - there are some small blemishes and these are shown on the attached photos. It plays perfectly and has a fabulous woody tone.
