14 year old 14.2 mare for sale through no fault of her own Currently out in a mixed herd, she is good to catch and easy to do in all ways. Handled by beginner who has also been her only rider and has been learning all of the basics She has been happily plodding out and occasionally round the school with absolute beginner on her as she is suitable for light schooling and hacking and we bought her to teach him the ropes. Unfortunately as you can see she doesn't take up enough of his legs and she therefore needs to find a smaller rider who she can enjoy the same chilled lifestyle with. Super safe plod along wanted

Hi I've recently started riding again after a 10yr break. I'm looking for a super safe horse or heavy pony for me and my 10yr old son to ride. I have osteoporosis and arthritis in my hip and my son has only been riding a short time. I will only be riding occasionally most likely a walk around the fields that surround the yard we use. Ive found that i can sit longer on a western saddle so thats what intend to use. My son will use the school to continue learning. I'm happy to take on an older horse ex trekking or riding centre would be ideal. Or a younger horse with an old head.
