Condition: although more than 600 years old, the manuscript is still in good condition; the vellum is slightly tanned and in the text are some tiny holes, the ink has affected the vellum. Elements that determine the value: its rarity, quality, age and attractiveness. Despite the small holes, this is a masterpiece in any serious collection. This 14th-century manuscript leaf is from a Latin breviary that was written in France. The text is written in two different colours and scripts. This is a manuscript on vellum (thin parchment - animal skin) with some beautifully decorated initials, with penwork in the margins. This is an original unique piece from the 14th century. Read more
