After a 2-1/2 year restoration period the van has been used once in August . The restoration involved all required bodywork repairs, a total respray and complete new outfitting, including a new pop top roof. The engine unit has been overhauled by a certified master tech at VW, with works including service, change out of dynamo to alternator, electronic ignition, new twin exhaust, new brakes. Beautiful VW T2 Devon Campervan

We are selling our beautiful T2 VV Camper after some wonderful family memories. She has undergone a full body restoration and re-spray in at ultimate chip repair in Gloucester. She was in the body shop for approximately 9 months and was stripped back to bare bones and built back up. No stone was left unturned and all necessary panels were replaced as opposed to the usual filler. She is immaculate Andre recipes worth £ can be shown for all the work. The engine was fully rebuilt by Laurie Pettitt in Scotland who is an expert in the field. the engine was re-bored to a cc and topped off with twin carb set for extra poke! With an extra cost of £ she is fitted with. 12 volt leisure battery, 2 double 240 V sockets and inverter, 240 V hook up cable. The gear shift has been replaced with Berg shifter which makes gear changes effortless. She has four brand new tyres and refurbished wheels, and the front brake calliper so have been refurbished. New OEM grade CV boots been fitted while he was there so he's good to go. Right hand drive (steering wheel on the proper side!!) He has a Devon Eurovette pop top, good canvas, watertight. Solid body, all metalwork was carried out by John at 81a VW Services in Southport using OEM panels. Full set of insulating thermomats. **Please note, there is no cooker or sink in the van. We had the interior built to our specifications. We never used the old sink. We didnt like the smell of cooking in the van, nor the risks of sleeping with gas cylinders!!** He starts 1st turn of the key. There is a lever arch folder with a plastic wallet for each year since holding every receipt, MOT and even tax discs. Lots and lots (and LOTS) of photographs showing various stages of repairs and updates, far too many to put on this listing (supplied on a memory stick). Bad Points Paint looks great, super shiny but its not showroom fresh. We use him loads so there are the odd marks & chips. Rear hatch has some rust inside the bottom edge (treated so hasnt progressed). Passenger door (so called rust free import) has some minor bubbling to the bottom edge (outside only, door bottom is solid). Engine bay could do with a tidy up. Im a firm believer in "if it aint broke don't fix it!!" It won't take much to make him perfect....... if the perfect look is your thing. We bought him to use, not show, and he has been awesome and will continue to be an awesome home from home with no additional work. VW Campervan - litre Type 2 VW Westfalia

Bluebell - l Type 2 VW Westfalia Campervan Bluebell is tax exempt and an original German Westfalia factory conversion. She is a right-hand drive, has just been serviced and has 12 months MOT. Bluebell is a genuine van and she is great fun for a day out or a camping holiday - with the extras included she is summer ready. We bought Bluebell in from a couple who had owned her since . We did a lot of restoration work to her in , photos of the restoration are available. Bluebell is a dry van and doesn’t smell like an old boat inside. We have kept her as stock as possible with no modifications. She has been MOT’d and serviced every year since she was restored. During restoration all door cards were replaced and the front seats professionally recovered to match the door card colours. The cab has luxury rubber mats and cab floor/seat anchor carpet covers. All door and window rubbers, including the Westfalia windows, were replaced with new. Both front doors were replaced with Californian imported dry doors. All doors and inner panels have been Waxoyled. A new leisure battery was fitted and is all wired up to run any internal electrics if needed independent of the engine electrics. To make Bluebell look a little special she has stainless steel beauty rings, chromed copper headlamp surrounds and original ’s Lucas lamps (fitted last year) together with stainless steel window wipers. All lock barrels match apart from the ignition so only two keys. The canvas was replaced with a high quality Westfalia style colour co-ordinated one. During restoration the engine was replaced with a new reconditioned unit and has only done about miles since, she was also fitted with a new carburetor and clutch. The engine is responsive and lively and has been tuned on her last service, she's never driven above 55mph. When serviced last week she had replaced both back brake drums and shoes. As you can see from the photos she is in good overall condition. The body and paintwork is in the main good but she does need some repairs to rust patches on the bodywork and the gutters, parts of the gutters are poor in places. The only other minor repair needed is the roof lining above the drivers head. Serious buyers only please. A deposit will be required with full payment by bank transfer. OK, so it's time to sell my beloved Molly. We've had some good times but expanding family and planned long trips and a house build on the horizon mean we need something a bit bigger, cheaper to run and happier to munch up motorway miles. She's a VW T2 (Crossover Bay), an original Dormobile conversion and the perfect vehicle for family weekend trips etc. We had a busy summer last year in her travelling all over the country with no issues. She's had a lot of work done over the past few years and as such is in excellent order. She was a barn find quite some time ago, run for a few years then taken off the road to have a major refurb. She's had all required welding done, a respray and a fresh interior installed along with a massive array of new parts. As you can see its an individual colour scheme and she really does look stunning, a real head turner and gets constant attention when you're out and about. So whats new? New interior, Original front seats recovered, New foam and newly covered rear seat, New retrosound headset (USB, Blue tooth, line in + radio) New Sony speakers x 4 + Subwoofer under rear seat (Stereo system does sound really nice) New Leisure battery + Zig split charge system New Alternator New Sink + Water storage + electric pump and tap with microswitch New doorcards No Rusty bits, completely solid.
