This is a vox ac30 top boost, dated . Tremendous sounding amp with G12M Celestion speakers and recent full service. I prefer the G12M speakers to the Alnico blue’s, but I’m also selling a single Alnico blue speaker, if you would like mix the speakers in the amp. Since I bought it, and it’s service, it has never been gigged. Just some studio use. The only thing modified on this amp is - I’ve changed the reverb pot into a master volume pot so the amp can distort without the face melting volume. I find that a much more desirable option than the reverb on this amp which isn’t very desirable in an ac30, but can easily be changed back to it’s original state. The only flaws are, the tremolo channel doesn’t sound too great, and a bit of ware and tare that is to be expected from an amp this age. I'm selling my much loved workhorse of a full valve guitar amp!! This amp is the best I've ever had and wipes the floor with modern modelling amps. You can't beat that raw tube drive. I've used in my bands for the last 3 years but sadly hung up my band and no longer the need for (or the space) for an amp. This amp is used by the greats and recently sprung back into popularity. Vox produced one hundred AC-30TBX amps in red Vox basket weave vinyl in an official limited edition. Only 36 of these were offered to the United States market, the balance was sold by Vox dealers throughout the world. A second limited edition run of 108 amps were covered in the fawn or tan vinyl left over from the Rose Morris Vox days. 61 of these amps were equipped with Celestion blue alnico speakers while the other 47 had Celestion Greenbacks. All 108 were offered exclusively to the US market. Vox consumed all of the remaining tan vinyl left over from Rose Morris in this limited production series. Vox AC30 valve amp for sale. Has been used for gigging in a Beatles tribute band but has since had a full service with full valve replacement (essentially making it brand new on the inside). Amp comes with Silverstone padded protective cover. Amp is in good condition. There are some superficial scratches on the bottom of the amp which are only visible if you lift it up. Performance wise, the amp is like brand new due to recent full service and valve replacement. Amp comes with Vox switch pedal to control reverb and tremelo. Additionally I will include the Morley switcher pedal (not originally included in the amp) which enables you to switch between channels or blend them. Reluctantly selling due to needing space and as doesn't get used anymore due to no longer playing in the band. Further details available on request.
