Larson 180i Volvo Penta 4.3 V6 with a monster wakeboard tower
Larson 180i Volvo Penta 4.3 V6 with a monster wake-board tower videos available on request. I’m selling our much loved Larson boat which has brought us so much joy over the last couple of years! I am reluctantly selling due to a new arrival. The boat is in all round great condition and we had all the interior cleaned professionally at the beginning of this summer. Its quite a fast boat if you want it to be with loads of pulling torque for water sports. We’ve taken it to about 50mph but not pushed it further. It can also quite happily cruise on the plane for a leisurely day out. Last year we had the risers and manifolds done. For those of you that don’t know about boat exhaust systems, water leakage is usually the killer on most boats with inboard engines. There is no indication of failure until it’s too late and water gets into the engine. You should have them changed every 6 years. The engine heads were also professionally cleaned to improve performance. The boat has only done 300 hours from new as seen on the hour clock. We have just serviced the boat and we have all the service history. The prop has also been revamped last year. A monster wake-board tower has been fitted with mirror and rack. The boat comes with a Bluetooth sound system, 350watt amp and w tower speakers and separate front speakers. Goes nice and load if you want it too! Other features include. Depth finder, large automatic bilge, blower, anchor and long rope, spare Gerry cans, horn, prop cover, fenders, towing rope, nav lights, automatic fire extinguisher, single extra fire extinguisher, flares, reserve engine bracket, cup holders and much more. The glove box doubles up as a wine chiller. You can pop ice in there and the water drains via a tube! All the dash controls fully working and there is also a depth finder, hour clock and usb charging ports available. The boat has a full cover set to make up a cabin as seen in the pictures. Its in 3 parts so it can be set up to suit your needs. This keeps the boat watertight. All covers were re waterproofed last year. All in great condition. The boat also comes with a heavy duty waterproof storage cover (not photo’d). There is a rip at the back that’s repaired but doesn’t affect the use or waterproofing as it’s on the lower side. The covers good for when you winterise your boat. The boat seats are all in good condition. The back sun deck has a small amount of wear from people getting in and out but it’s been like this ever since we brought it and hasn’t got any worse. There was also a small cosmetic gel-coat repair done last year the colour is slowly fading to match. Both areas shown in the picture split horizontally. Nothing major. Trailers are another big issue on boats with towers not knowing the correct laws, with most just cutting braking cables because they stop working. Anything over 750 kg must be braked by law. I had a friend who recently had to get his boat and trailer recovered due to being stopped by the police! This boat is kg and the trailer is about 360kg. Last year a brand-new axel was fitted along with a braked coupling. The brake cables are all stainless. I have just serviced the trailer and brakes so it’s in a clean bill of health. It’s a ski trailer which is great for launching and is kinder to the boat on recovery. The trailer coupling also has a key lock so you can ensure the boat can be locked on or off the car so that it can’t be pinched. We also have a reserve engine which we will throw in. it’s a seagull 6hp with a neutral gear. There old engines but I guarantee if you’re out on the water with a reserve that you’re not running frequently, there is nothing more reliable than a seagull engine. There noisy beasts, but I have never failed to get this engine started after about 4 pulls when I’ve tested it. That’s it. We have been honest about everything so no hidden surprises. Viewings welcome. We can show the engine running and pumping water and fire up the reserve engine. Ad ID: Delivery Service Consumer Credit
