Voluntary work

Hi, I am looking for someone which would like a hand on their yard / stables 1-2 days a week to fit around my current work or regular evenings after 4pm. I am happy to get stuck into anything, from poo picking fields / ragworting / mucking out / grooming / washing buckets/ plaiting / lunging / feeding / watering..... I have been around horses and ponies of all ages / sizes / temperaments from a very young age. I have learned a variety of horse based skills through pony club where I gained my D / D+ & C test certificates and did my BHS ride and road safety certificate. I hold a Bachalors honours degree in Bio-Veterinary Science from The universiry of Lincoln - my final research project being focussed on the movement and health issues related in horses when jumping on tight turns; I was able to work with a variety of horses of all ages / breeds. My current shift rota is provided a week in advanced; however, due to the change of shift pattern weekly I cannot guarantee I will have the same days off each week. Animal care voluntary opportunities

Volunteers sought to work alongside a range of animals from alpaca to zebra and 29 different species in between. Ideal for someone local to Ross on Wye Herefordshire who is seeking a career with animals and needing experience on their cv or someone who simply loves being surrounded by animals and helping them have a great enriched life. Previous experience with animals is great, but not required, however it is important to have a can-do attitude and ability to remain calm and considered when working beside livestock. Also ideal for a handy man who enjoys mending and repairing and maintaining their enclosures, fencing and helping to enrich their environments. We are located just outside Ross on Wye in Herefordshire in a valley setting. The volunteer will work with 160 animals across 30 different species. Great for equine lovers as we have donkeys, mules, horses, miniature horses and zebra, some of which need a lot of attention. We are not a charity but alongside our own farm livestock and pets we have offered homes to animals who were neglected, could no longer be cared for, or RSPCA cases living in conditions inappropriate for their needs. This voluntary work will involve pen clearing, pooh picking, feeding, and help with husbandry, disinfecting enclosures and adding different enrichments. If you seek a range of experiences we will ensure you get engaged with husbandry work including hoove clipping, worming, vaccinating, wound dressing etc. It is tough physical work but in a great setting with great experiences to be had. Looking for voluntary work in Fleetwood

I'm 14 years old and I'm looking for voluntary work to help out at stables or generally just to help with animal care. I am located in Fleetwood and can travel as far as Cleveleys and most areas of Blackpool. I have been doing riding lessons for about 5 weeks now and I love animals so something like this would really benefit me. Unfortunately I have never helped out in stables however I am a fast learner and I'm willing to do anything I'm offered. At home I look after 2 cats, 2 dogs, a rabbit and a Budgie, so I have a fair amount of experience with pets. I am free Mon-Thur 5pm until 9pm and Fridays+Saturdays from 9am until 11pm. Please note that I'm very mature and hardworking and will handle animals with care at all times!
