Volkswagen T4 Caravelle TDI LWB

Volkswagen Caravelle long wheel base (long nose). Purchased with intention of conversion but time constraints do not now allow. 2.5lt 88bhp engine which is in really good condition with miles with service history. 2 previous owners. Rare "working" air conditioning (front and back) with the electric pack (windows and mirrors). Alloy wheels and tyres with good tread. Solid floor and sill and arches which again is hard to find. Rear seats were removed for conversion - would make an ideal camper conversion as it has windows throughout its length (to fit windows would be nearly £ if professionally fitted). This is quite a rare find as it is last of the T4's with great mileage (substantiated by documentation). No door card on tailgate and side sliding doors need repairs to the door cards - although no need if converting. passenger side sliding door needs new runner (approx £15 incl postage). Genuine rear position non swivel seats and they fit into the standard VW track system, so easy to remove and replace. They recline for comfort or fold flat for extra storage space. They come with factory fitted armrests and drawer underneath for more storage. Only selling as they have been replaced by a triple seat/bed. They are in very good condition apart from signs of wear and tear on the inside and rear of the seats due to storage of luggage and sports equipment. After a trip round Europe last summer I decided to sell my van and find one with air con. An absolute must for a camper! As you can see I've not 100% finished this one however all the hard jobs are completed and all that is needed is some side furniture or just use it as a day van as it is. The van has covered 158k however don't let this put you off. My colleague has the same van with 40k on his and there feel absolutely identical to drive. This van has had only one owner (user) before myself and always erred on the side of caution with regards to servicing. For example, it had the cam belt changed 20k earlier than it needed and always serviced. This is a fantastic van and it will be sadly missed.
