A fine and decorative vintage wine rack from France which holds nine 75 cl. wine bottles. The base is solid wood (I think chestnut), has a drawer for keeping corkscrews, tastevin, etc. and round pedestal feet. The rack that holds the wine bottles is made from brass which has a lustrous patina. The gracious horizontal curves are contrasted by tapered vertical mounts with finials. This wine rack is in very good condition commensurate with age. The wooden base has at some time had woodworm but has been professional treated. Vintage medium oak unit with dresser/display cabinet, drinks/wine cabinet and two base units.

Magnificent vintage Dutch oak unit in 4 sections. Top left is a drinks cabinet with inbuilt wine rack and drop-down tiled pouring surface. Top right is a display cabinet with two glass shelves. Below these are two base units, each with one internal shelf. The max height of the display unit is 2.05m (6'9"), the total length is 2m and the base is 500mm deep. You could easily separate the units if required to fit the space. There are some minor blemishes, but the unit is in good condition. The handles and design are very chunky, giving it an unusual and interesting Dutch look. The whole thing is heavy with a very solid look and feel. rare & unique vintage chest / library index card cabinet /wine rack storage in solid wood (oak ?)

For sale a lovely (and rare) chest of drawers, made of solid wood (possibly oak). Actually it's a former library index card (24 drawers in total). Measurements in cm: 116 height 103 width 47 deepth (top) 53 depth (bottom) Vintage item - not sure of age, but possibly mid century or earlier. Has some marks and stains as expected of an item of this age, but nothing major. In our opinion it looks beautiful this way, and full of character. A popular use for it nowadays is to store wine, as you'll see in the last picture (please note only this pic is not of the actual cabinet). The drawers are quite deep! Selling due to a fit out, and sadly have to see it go... Its fairly heavy, but the top is detachable from the bottom making it easier for transportation (though you will probably need a van). Viewings are welcome, Mon-Sat 11am to 6pm, Sun 12pm to 5pm. We have a (free) loading bay, with lift access. Near Blackfriars (South entrance), Southwark and Waterloo. Vintage-style, solid wood cabinet. Painted in chalk paint 'Annie Sloan - Florence' on top and 'Annie Sloan - Duck Egg Blue' body. Inspired by 20th century Italy/France. It's a classic yet unique style that would look amazing as a statement piece in a bedroom/living room/hallway. The top of the cabinet and shelves are coated in two layers of protective wax and is completely wipeable. I used a layering technique with three different Annie Sloan paints (old white, Florence & duck egg blue) and then sanded and stripped back to the original wood to give a the cabinet a shabby chic appearance.
