VINTAGE WOODEN GERMAN MADE CHAIR RUSH STRUNG SEAT ARCHED ARM

Unusual looking occasional chair, with slatted back, arched arms, strung / rattan seat. We imported this one from Germany and it's been in my wife's family for decades. Believed to be from the s, but my internet research has not brought up anything exactly like it? Appears to be beach wood, but I am no expert,if you know better please let me know and we will amend this listing accordingly. Condition: Strung base is all there, no fretting or coming away or pulls, very good condition. Wood finish has a few knocks and scratches in places, as to be expected over the years. The structure of the chair is still solid. Would benefit from a french polish if a new look is desired, otherwise leave it as it is with all that history! Vintage Corner Chair with a Rush Seat

An attractive vintage solid oak corner chair with a rush seat. It has a curved back and turned legs with four side bottom  struts. A nice country item ideal for a hallway or perhaps a children's chair. It stands 70cm high and the seat is approx 39cm square. Overall in good condition for its age.
