Wooden sign has to be at least 19th century.One solid piece of possibly elm or oak with two battens to the back with a wooden surround frame.The paint has crazed over the years to give a nice effect.There is minor loss of paint to some of the lettering but again does not detract from the overall appearance.The wood has minor cracks on the front but is to be expected on something this old!Measures cm x43cm approx. Makes a great feature hung over a fireplace or on any wall making a unique piece of wall art.
